🌿 Yoga Lateness Policy

At the Sanctuary, we honor the practice of yoga as a sacred space for healing, connection, and mindfulness. To preserve this space and respect the time of our teachers and students, we ask that all participants arrive on time and ready before class begins.

Arrival Expectation: Students are encouraged to arrive at least 5 minutes early to settle in and prepare.

Late Entry:  If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, the office reserves the right to deny entry. This decision may depend on class size, the nature of the practice, and at mainly the teacher’s prior request or discretion.

Why This Matters: Entering late can be disruptive to the collective energy of the class and may affect the experience of others. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels supported in their practice.

✨ Asteya (Non-Stealing) as Our Guiding Principle

In the Eight Limbs of Yoga, Asteya reminds us not to take what is not freely given. Arriving late, even unintentionally, can take from others—their peace, focus, and time. By arriving on time, you honor your practice, your teacher, and your fellow students, and you contribute to the collective energy of the class.

We appreciate your mindfulness and commitment to being present. Your timeliness allows us to begin and end classes smoothly, respecting everyone’s journey on the mat.
