Are you interested in learning about improving health and wellness with yoga and ayurveda? Are you looking to rest and restore balance? Would you like to connect with others on the path of living mindfully?  

This is an all inclusive retreat to dive into yoga, pranayam, meditation and Ayurveda with Dr Ajita Patel as she shares The Art of Tea and Science of Herbs: A Journey for the Senses and Soul. 

Come sip your way into the heart of Ayurveda as you learn how to make herbal teas, moonlit infusions and wholesome brews.  There will be daily Pranayam | Yoga | Meditation classes (all-level classes),  workshops: art and science of herbal teas ( you will receive a booklet of herbs, their benefits and how to use them and lots of recipes)

Topics & Sessions: 
We will explore in depth fresh and dried herbs that will pleasantly improve your health. Learn which herbs to use to correct digestive issues, to awaken your mind, soothe your heart, cradle you into restful sleep, improve your immunity or kindle your vitality. Embrace the nurturing and therapeutic benefits of herbs as you learn to design your own teas for the season or a specific benefit. The flavors and aromas of the herbs will dance their way in through your senses and create a sense of balance within, giving you moments to pause, ground and reflect on your journey.

Learn the delicate art of moon-infused herbal teas kissed by lunar light, designed to cool and calm, nurturing you under the watchful gaze of the night sky.· Master some traditional recipes for exquisite drinks that typically go with fun and comforting foods. This will impress your friends and family and create lasting memories as well as teasing the taste buds with every bite, awakening joy and digestion. 

The Tradition of Chai:  Journey through its rich history and cultural essence, and learn to craft this comforting ritual that has connected one another for generations since ancient times.

After lunch will be time for self reflection and journaling to reconnect with your own heart or connect with nature.

With 3 wholesome plant based meals, hiking in the gentle embrace of rolling hills, sweeping panoramic views and the tranquil energy of Vedanta retreat center, you will come away inspired and ready to integrate wholesome habits into your life  

For many of us life has become too busy, disconnected and complicated as we are yanked by increasing distractions and responsibilities. Come join me for 4 days of total rejuvenation, gently healing and strengthening every layer of your being.

Location: Central California , between Bakersfield and Fresno, Nestled into a beautiful mountain valley resting on 300 acres of rolling hills with winding rivers. This retreat is surrounded by the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountain range making for powerful Moonrise, Sunset, and Stargazing. Off the grid – no internet (there is a landline)
