AYURVEDIC CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

750 HOUR PROFESSIONAL LEVEL COURSE

Come study Ayurvedic medicine at the Sanctuary and start exploring the wealth of wisdom that has been flowing since beginning of time. Ayurveda is gaining more popularity all over the world as being a complete natural health care system. It integrates nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counselling, yoga, meditation, body therapies and detox therapies.

As an authentic and successful Ayurveda and Pancha Karma clinic, the Sanctuary is now offering introductory and advanced professional level courses in Ayurvedic medicine. The first level is Ayurveda Certification Program 750 hour course providing a strong foundation for anyone who wants to improve their own health or help others as a health care professional. Learn how to assess physical and psychological health challenges, how to determine the root of any imbalance and how to design and implement treatment plans that address mind and digestion

This professional level course is offered in a traditional mentorship format. Come gain deep insight into this spiritual medicine with hands on training and solid clinical experience working with real clients. Along with a strong academic foundation, you will gain confidence in creating customized herbal formulas and actual cooking classes to become familiar with herbs and spices to guide your clients with the kitchen pharmacy.

GENERAL INFORMATION

January to August 2020

~ 250 classroom hours

~ 250 hours directed independent study, conferences,workshops,

~ 250 hours clinical experience: health fairs, client visits,herb dept, community workshops and group.

~ 2 weekends a month, Sat 12:30 to 6PM & Sun 10:30 to 5PM & Weds from 6 to 8PM).

Some modules may be taken without enrolling in the full program. Attendance in person for weekend classes, online only available for weekday evening classes

Module 1: Foundation Of Ayurveda & Foundation Of Health

January 2022: Wed 8th, Sat 11th, Sun 12th, Wed 15th, Wed 22nd, Sat 25th, Sun 26th & Wed 20th

Module 2: Food As Medicine ( weekends will be 10 to 6 ) must attend live

February: Wed 5th, Sat 8th, Sun 9th, Wed 12th, Wed 19th, Sat 22nd, Sun 23rd & Wed 26th.

Module 3: Pathology And Diagnostics

March: Wed 4th, Sat 7th, Sun 8th, Wed 11th, Wed 18th, Sat 21st, Sun 22nd & Wed 25th

Module 4: Psychology

April: Wed 1st, Sat 4th, Sun 5th, Wed 8th, Wed 15th, Sat 18th & Sun19th. Midterm Exams: Wed 22nd & Wed 29th

Module 5: Herbology (must attend some classes live)

May: Sat 2nd, Sun 3rd, Wed 6th, Wed 13th, Sat 16th, Sun 17th, Wed 20th & Wed 27th

Module 6: Children And Women's health

June: Wed 3rd, Sat 6th, Sun 7th, Wed 10th, Sat 27th & Sun 28th

Final Exam: July 8th

Module 7: Clinical Internship:

July: Sat 11th, Sun 12th, Wed 22nd, Sat 24th & Sun 25th

August: Wed 5th, Sat 8th, Sun 9th, Wed 12th, Wed 19th, Wed 26th & Sat 29th
